Biography: I was born and bred in London to Spanish and Portuguese parents. Educated to PhD level (in Geography) I initially pursued an academic career until opening my own sightseeing tour operating business in London geared towards the Spanish-speaking market. I graduated as a Blue Badge Guide in 2010 gaining the award for Best Overall Practical Exams (for the Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral, British Museum, Westminster Abbey, Tate Modern gallery, guiding on a coach in London and guided walks in London).

London sites for which accredited: 2012 Venues, Parliament
Special interests: My PhD in Cultural Geography shapes my guiding. I'm interested in showing my clients the different versions of London that are on offer, not just iconic London but also cinematic London, immigrant London, the London of skyscrapers and the London of cafés and pubs. I'm very interested in politics and am an accredited guide at the Houses of Parliament. I'm fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and have a lot of experience in guiding clients (tourists and business) in these languages.
Walking tours: Walking is the best way to cement the curiosity and specificity of a place in the mind and memory. I love to lead walking tours of places such as the City of London, Westminster, Docklands, Notting Hill, Soho and why not theme it with a pub tour?!
Extended tours: I offer tours of Spain and Portugal, where I have lived on occasions (in Lisbon, Madrid and Tomar) and where I conducted my doctoral research (in Madrid). As a Geographer, have also taken student groups to Andalucia, Spain.
Countries offered: Portugal, Spain
